Alcohol and Food

Alcohol & Food

  • Licensed bartender requirement, age verification, dram shop compliance
Only certified or licensed bartenders can serve alcohol (not guests or untrained staff). Bartenders must check IDs to ensure no one under 21 is served alcohol. No alcohol may be served to minors under any circumstances.

All alcohol service must end 30 minutes before the event concludes, even if overtime has been prepaid.

Example: If your event is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, all alcohol service must stop by 10:30 PM.

  • Approved caterers/food trucks, health permits
Only approved food vendors are allowed. Required permits must be secured from the Dallas Consumer Health Division, and food truck placement needs venue approval.

Example: If you plan to host a public event with food trucks, you must obtain a Dallas Consumer Health Division permit and receive written approval from The White Stable for vendor participation and food truck placement.

For a private wedding or birthday event, no permit is required, but the caterer must still be approved by The White Stable.
